Xabrualva is the personal project of musician and composer Javier Bruña Álvarez — an instrumental proposal born from the need to explore without limits, blending instruments, sounds and styles to build a language of his own. His music does not seek to fit into labels: it moves freely between the acoustic and the electronic, the intimate and the expansive, the simple and the complex. Each piece is an open emotional space, an invitation to feel without filters and to be carried by a palette of sensations that never aims to leave the listener indifferent.

Javi’s relationship with music began at the age of 14, when the guitar became his first means of expression. By 16 he was already part of several bands, standing out for his creativity and natural ease for composition.

This curiosity led him to study in different schools, diving especially into flamenco and jazz — two worlds that shaped his musical vision, from the freedom of jazz to the emotional honesty of flamenco.

In 2024 he decided to take a further step and begin his most personal project: Xabrualva. A space where he can compose as he feels — without masks, without artifice, and with no other intention than creating sincere music, with its strengths and imperfections, with its truth. Each work is a fragment of his inner universe, built from intuition, experimentation and the desire to connect with the listener.

Xabrualva is, at its core, an emotional journey. Music that does not seek to impress, but to touch, move and accompany. A project that grows from authenticity and stands on a simple yet powerful idea: to make people feel, and to make people enjoy.
